Many job ads that you find at traditional job sites like CraigsList.org, Monster.com, and CareerBuilder.com don't specify pay rates. I can't figure out why, other than job posters are too lazy to ballpark a figure or list payment terms. Other job posters who don't specify a pay rate sometimes use acronyms to hint at a type of pay rate. A popular acronym is
TBD, which means pay rate is
To Be Determined or
To Be Discussed.
